To all of Brian’s friends and Associates,
As many of you know, Brian had passed away from a massive heart attack on September 9, 2008 in London Ontario, in a horse riding competition. He was having a fabulous ride on his best horse “Eddie”, but never completed the pattern. He was doing what he loved and did so with great passion. Since then our family has been coping with our tremendous loss. We have been undecided as to what to do with the BHG business. Brian and I had worked on it together with a part time sewer, for the past 4 years. Brian of course was the one who did all of designing and order taking. He loved to talk to the Goalies and to find out what it was they needed, it was certainly what made this so unique.
He was able to take the time to speak to each of them personally and he loved to have them visit. They were always also shown his second love, which was our Horses, he loved them all and was so very proud of each them. It has been very hard to go forward without him here. We have not been able to decide what to do.
Our daughter Stephanie had been in contact with Marcelo Cordoba, a former sales associate that had worked with Brian at Louisville. Between the two of them Marcelo has seen to the production of the memorial patch that many of you have seen and ordered on the goalie store web-site. We are currently trying to decide the future of the company, please check back soon
Thank you so much for your patience and your out pouring of care and concern,
Sally Heaton and Marshall and Kimberley Heaton, Ryan Heaton and
Stephanie Heaton
